Important Fact:  The Shift key triggers autoflow and control D drops in text and photos.

Important Fact:  The Typography workspace allows for text wrap so that you can enlarge and customize the beginning letter of a newsletter


Important Fact: In the type holder menu you can fill a text box with your text. When placing in an image you cannot have your text frame selected. The escape key is a quick shortcut.

Select Three other videos from Adobe TV that you might use to help you with the creation of your newsletter. They do not have to be InDesign videos. For example, if you were create graphics with Photoshop or Illustrator, you can select a videos from that menu.

Retro Text Effects

Add Effects to fonts/texts such as drop shadows with bright colors and different blending effects.

Create a magazine style call out.

To highlight a specific quote or sentence, simply enlarge the font, change the color, change the type style, and wrap the text.

Add and transform graphics

File and then place easily drops in graphics to your document. The links panel can help you easily navigate between and replace images.
